From Saturday, June 4, 2011 to Thursday, June 9, 2011, lawyers from New Perimeter and DLA Piper travelled to Dili, in Timor-Leste, to present a report on economic development options for Timor-Leste. Nicolas Patrick (Pro Bono Partner for DLA Piper's European, Middle East and Australasian offices), Claire Donse (on Secondment from DLA Piper Australia to New Perimeter) and Efthimia Goudakis (DLA Piper) presented the report to the Council of Ministers - a body comprised of the Prime Minister, the Vice Prime Minister, and the Government Ministers. While in Dili, Nic, Claire and Efi also met with a number of Ministers and high level government officials to discuss development options, and facilitated workshops on special economic zones for the staff of a number of Government Ministries.
